Have you previously had an OpenAthens account and forgotten your password?

Access via your institution’s:

Network/wifi (IP)

If your organisation is providing access to BMJ Best Practice via their network/wifi (IP), please connect your device/computer to your institution’s network/wifi.

Once connected, you should get instant access to BMJ Best Practice and you have the ability to set up a personal profile that enables remote access for one year, access to the BMJ Best Practice app and CME/CPD tracking.

Website/intranet/EHR

If your institution has advised you to access BMJ Best Practice via their website/portal/intranet/EHR, follow these steps:

(1) Go to your institution’s website or EHR and find the link to BMJ Best Practice*

(2) Click on the BMJ Best Practice link. You will then be taken to BMJ Best Practice website and get full access

You also have the ability to set up a personal profile that enables remote access for one year, access to the BMJ Best Practice app and CME/CPD tracking.

Access codes are provided to individuals by their institution. If you do not know your institution’s access code, please ask the BMJ Best Practice contact at your institution, or contact us for help.
